Now, don’t tell us you’ve given up on Sonic just yet! He’s been getting back to his roots, hitting players with side-scrolling, speed-centric action and getting solo billing. His 20th anniversary project, Sonic Generations, has been drawing some attention for its mixture of old and new, but no word had come on when we could expect to see it in stores. SEGA has finally decided to reveal that information, though. Come November 1, Sonic Generations will hit the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in North America, striking Europe on November 4 and not seeing release in Japan until over a month later, on December 8. No word yet on whether these dates also apply to the 3DS version.
