Both the PSN and XBLA have a wide selection of downloadable games, but it’s the Xbox 360 that arguably has the widest selection of exclusives on its online service. Games like Castle Crashers, Torchlight, and Shadow Complex have all been met with huge success and critical acclaim on XBLA. In fact, even Limbo was originally an XBLA exclusive, though it will be adding its unique atmosphere to PSN on July 19. Sony’s selection of PSN exclusives, while admirable, just hasn’t seen the same level of success. That could soon change, as Sony is planning to boost its efforts toward bringing more exclusive content to its online platform.
This could mean a big improvement in Sony’s already impressive lineup of PSN support, giving PS3 gamers a ton of incredible new content to experience on the platform. |
