Well, close. Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy’s Kong Quest is the sequel to the hit game, Donkey Kong Country (which was released in 1994). First released in 1995 on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, and later in 2004 on the Gameboy Advance, this game follows a similar gameplay style as the first one. The player takes control of Diddy Kong, Donkey Kong’s sidekick (think the Tails to Sonic, or the Luigi to Mario), and his girlfriend, Dixie. Developed by Rare, who also made Banjo Kazooie, this 2D side-scrolling platformer sees the player traverse Donkey Kong and Crocodile Island, collecting bananas and using barrels, peanuts, and all sorts of mining carts to defeat the forces of King K. Rool.

They say accidents happen closest to home, but that can also include kidnappings. Or ape napping, in this case. One day, while relaxing on the beach, Donkey Kong is suddenly captured by the evil King K. Rool and is held ransom. The price? The Kongs’ banana horde. Rather than pay that awful price, Diddy Kong and his girlfriend Dixie set out to save Donkey Kong from the evil lizard!

Lost World
To unlock the Lost World, you must pass the first world. In the all the other worlds, you will start to find a ”Klubba’s Koisk” in each world. When you visit one, a Kremling named Klubba will ask you to give him 15 Kremcoins to enter The Lost World. If you do give 15 Kremcoins to Klubba in a particular world, you will unlock one particular level of the Lost World.
