Now that I think about it, it feels like only just recently the PS4 was announced. It sure was a rather long wait, filled with twists and turns, shots being fired, gamers taking sides, etc. It was an encouraging time for me too, since it was around the time that I got into video-game journalism. Now, after several months, the PS4 is just around the corner, and to prepare our butts for the console’s imminent launch, Sony has published a rather comprehensive FAQ on everything you need to know about the PS4!
Publishing both a North American version and a European version , Sony has answered the most common and the least common questions about the PS4, both big and small. The two different versions are pretty much identical in terms of content, the only difference that I’ve seen being the different currency for each region.
Sony admits that the FAQ is just the start, because some details are going through last-minute finalization up until the console’s launch, which thus explains why such things are being withheld from the FAQ for the time being. The company promises that it will continue to update the FAQ leading up to launch and even post-launch, incorporating new answers to questions and additional details as they arise.
The FAQ itself covers everything so far about the PS4 and then some: detailing the console’s specs, its launch window, Sony’s policy on used games, the controller and accessories, and so on. You can head on over to PlayStation.blog to check out each respective FAQ ( NA and EU ) if you so desire!
