With the impending release of Just Cause 3, Square Enix has announced a really interesting contest. They want you to make a 1-to-2 minute commercial that best showcases all of the explosive craziness of Just Cause 3, and whoever makes the best commercial wins a cool 5,000 smackeroos.
VP of Brand & European Marketing for Square Enix says, “Just Cause 3 is a game designed with streamers and content creators in mind; a true sandbox built to be explored and played creatively. To that end, it felt right to offer our fans – who’ve posted over 4 million Just Cause 2 trailers to YouTube since launch – the opportunity to create our launch trailer.”
The commercials will be judged by their action, use of audio, and humor. The winner, whose commercial will become the official launch trailer for Just Cause 3 , will receive an all new 6th generation Intel Core i7 processor-based gaming rig in addition to their cash winnings.
