I can feel the Force is strong with this one, as a brand-spankin’ new Star Wars themed pinball pack has been released for PlayStation today!
Bobby Loertscher, Community Manager at Zen Studios, brought us the details via a post on the PlayStation.Blog. “We are so thrilled to bring you a brand new Star Wars Pinball pack, releasing just in time for Star Wars Day, May the fourth! The past two years have been tremendously rewarding and nothing short of a dream come true for our studio to work with this incredible Universe.” Touted Loertscher.
On the blog, fans chimed in with other ideas for exclusive tables that Zen could bring to PSN subscribers. User saab01 suggested the likes of Uncharted, Sly Cooper and Killzone , among others. In response, Mrs. Loertscher happily responded “These are great, thank you for the suggestions!”
Great news I say! It’s nice to know there are some in the industry that care about what gamer’s want, and listen! I would not be surprised at all to see a myriad of new themed tables spring from the success of Star Wars pinball. With PlayStation’s virtually endless library to choose from, we could very well be mashing those flippers for years to come!
As for the latest Star Wars pack, it is available for downloaded for a modest $9.99 price tag.
