Are you psyched about the impending release of Star Wars Battlefront ? Do you need more Star Wars in your life? PlayStation’s got your back! Super Star Wars is one of the best Star Wars games, and arguably one of the best classic platformers ever made. The game was released for the SNES back in 1992, and then made available again in 2009 through the Wii’s virtual console. Sony has decided to resurrect this treasured gem and offer it for the PS4 and the Vita as a cross buy title, meaning when you buy the game, you get it for your PS4 and your Vita to enjoy on the go.
This won’t simply be a direct port, according to Sony. The game will sport enhanced display and controller options, new save features, and its own trophies. The feedback following this announcement has been overwhelmingly positive, and although Super Star Wars won’t hold a candle to Battlefront sales, I’m betting this enhanced classic will find its way into the libraries of many retro game lovers and Star Wars fans alike.
