Move over, Black Ops III. Move over, Mountain Dew. This is, hands down, the best video game tie-in marketing ploy ever. Target, Jones Soda Company, and Fallout 4 have teamed up (enough said) to bring you some real Nuka Cola Quantum. It’s actually blue, and it actually will boost your AP. This is why shopping at Target is so awesome and so dangerous. You go in for some dryer sheets, you take a pit stop at the in-store Starbucks, and before you know it you’re checking out with a new hoodie, a 24-pack of InkJoy pens, the new Taylor Swift CD, and Nuka Cola Quantum.
The soda will be available exclusively at Target starting November 10, going on sale alongside Fallout 4 . You’ve likely heard that there’s a Fallout beer out there, but it’s super expensive and only available in the UK. It turned out to be about $45 USD for a 12-pack, and that’s before shipping, so Nuka Cola is the more frugal and frankly more visually appealing choice here. If you were wondering, the flavor is ‘berry lemonade.’ Sounds a little too sweet for me, but I wasn’t planning on drinking it anyway. This is a collector’s item. I’m going to sell this with some Beanie Babies one day for big bucks.
