If you thought we were cool because Target stores are going to start carrying Nuka Cola Quantum made by Jones Soda to coincide with the forthcoming Fallout 4 fanfest, you may want to sit down and brace yourself. There’s another cool Fallout 4 beverage Bethesda is using as part of its endeavor to milk the franchise for everything it’s worth, and it won’t be released here. Europe is getting Fallout 4 beer.
The Fallout 4 beer is being made by Carlsberg with Bethesda’s approval. It’s a pilsner lager made with malted barleys and hops for a “fruity aroma and a crisp, bitter finish.” We’ll have to take Carlsberg’s word for it, though, because it will only be sold in the United Kingdom. Amazon.co.uk will start selling it for £29.99 on November 5, but won’t ship to other regions.
Maybe if you close your eyes when drinking the Nuka Cola, you can pretend it’s the Fallout 4 beer?
