With Team ICO’s latest game, The Last Guardian, likely coming out before the end of next year, fans potentially have a long wait in front of them. If only there was something else coming out of the studio that could help make the wait not seem as long. Perhaps it could be something like the God of War or Sly Cooper Collections, but for ICO and Shadow of the Colossus. Of course, I’m talking about the long rumored Team ICO Collection that has been making the rounds since the announcement of the God of War Collection.  Thankfully, due to a probable mishap of posting on Walmart.com (via Eurogamer), the Team ICO Collection rumors now look much more credible. According to a recently found posting on the online retailer’s site, the Team ICO Collection will be coming out April 1, 2011 and will sell for $39.82 (likely $39.99 everywhere else). While the date might lead you to think this is an early April Fools’ joke, it is possible that it is only a placeholder that refers to an approximate release window. As always, Sony has refused to comment on rumor and speculation. |
