Super Meat Boy developer Team Meat has announced its new game, Mew-Genics.
Details are still scarce, but the developer announced on its official blog that the new title was born out of “a little game jam over a weekend,” and that it’s “by far the strangest project” Team Meat member Edmund McMillen has ever worked on. Anyone who’s ever played Super Meat Boy can tell you that that’s saying something.
Mew-Genics will also “be randomly generated, strange, and involve cats.” The developer says that it’s “moving quite fast on it” and that information on platforms, gameplay details, and new screen shots will be available in the near future.
