PETA’s Meat Attack Backfires

PETA’s Meat Attack Backfires

None

Animal activist organization PETA has created and released a parody of the popular (and notoriously difficult) Super Meat Boy. Basically an imitation of Super Meat Boy, Super Tofu Boy instead casts the titular Tofu Boy as the lead as he rescues Bandage Girl, now bitterly estranged from Meat Boy, her meaty ex-boyfriend.

Team Meat, the developers of Super Meat Boy, seems to find the attention “extremely flattering.” Team Meat’s Edmund McMillen said the following in response. “For them to do a parody of Meat Boy during our launch week on Steam… there’s no way we can complain about that.”

Team Meat has also responded with an announcement that Super Tofu Boy will be added as a downloadable character in the next PC Patch of Super Meat Boy, although he won’t be available in the XBLA version.
