Tecmo Koei’s Team Ninja has been very, very busy. Besides their work on Ninja Gaiden 3, the development studio has also been slaving away on a Vita-based port of a Ninja Gaiden Sigma title and, as revealed today, the next entry in the long-running Dead or Alive series of high-octane 3D fighters. Not seen on consoles since Dead or Alive 4, only weeks after the Xbox 360’s launch, Dead or Alive 5 will be making its way to both Microsoft’s system and Sony’s PlayStation 3. Though the trailer shown at TGS was in pre-alpha state, the graphics appear crisp, the animations smooth, and countering looks to be in full effect.
