Fans of the original Valkyria Chronicles, or even its follow up on the PSP, are understandably eager to find out what Sega’s plan for the franchise is. With the original coming out on the PS3 and then the sequel being put on the PSP, where will the next one be, or more importantly, will there be a next one? Thankfully, it looks as though there will definitely be a Valkyria Chronicles 3.  When inspecting Sega’s TGS stage page, which outlines what the company will be discussing during TGS with “Coming Soon” currently listed for its announcements, a curious gamer (via Andriasang) discovered a nifty trick that cleared up the mystery. The page is listed in a .gif format, however, when switched to .jpg, the “Coming Soon” listings changed to say “Valkyria Chronicles 3: Voice Actor Announcement and Game Presentation.” Even if this oversight does ring true during Sega’s announcement September 16, we’ll still have to wait until then to find out which console the game will be released for. |
