The $400 PlayStation 4 Pro Is Out in November

The $400 PlayStation 4 Pro Is Out in November

The PlayStation 4 Neo has been revealed, and you can go ahead and start calling it the PlayStation 4 Pro now. (Or maybe the PS4P, if you’re feeling silly.) Sony officially announced the updated version of the PlayStation 4 at the PlayStation Meeting 2016. It was a bit underwhelming, but let’s go over all the details anyway.

You’ll be able to pick up the PlayStation 4 Pro on November 10 for $399. It’ll come with a 1TB hard drive and redesigned DualShock 4. It has 1080p resolution and 4K support for games and streaming video, but not videos on Blu-ray discs. It should also have more stable and higher frame rates for all PlayStation 4 Pro “forward compatibility” titles.

Most importantly, Sony confirmed some of the games that will be PlayStation 4 Pro compatible or get patches to make them so. Such games include Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, FIFA 16, Final Fantasy XV, For Honor, Horizon: Zero Dawn: inFamous: First Light, The Last of Us Remastered, Mass Effect: Andromeda, Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Spider-Man, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, and Watch Dogs 2 . You know, all the games you’d expect.

To be honest, I’m most excited about the standard PlayStation 4 price drop that’ll come due to the PlayStation 4 Pro’s influence. It’s already convinced a few of my friends to finally get a PlayStation 4 Slim!
