Hacking guru George Hotz is in a lot of “Hotz” water with Sony, as they have filed several suits against the Internet titan for hacking his PlayStation 3. Because Hotz does not hack for profit (well, not yet anyways), the guy is a little short on cash and pessimistic about his prospects of getting out of his lawsuit given his current lawyer situation.  So, how can you help? Well, Mr. Hotz has set up his own donation fund at his website (geohot.com) and is taking donations in “waves” to help keep pace with his mounting legal costs. If you do decide to help out Hotz-Master-Flex, keep in mind that the website does not have a tracker for money spent vs. money gained (a la Kickstarter) so your hard-earned cash may go to the hunger relief fund at Taco Bell as well as the legal defense fund. |
