The decade-long wait for StarCraft II was definitely a bitter pill to swallow for fans of the original game, but when the game was finally released earlier this year, fans breathed a sigh of relief. Despite the game’s release though, it seems that fans who want to play through the other two-thirds of the game (focusing on the Zerg and Protoss), you’ll have to do a lot more waiting. Battle.Net Project Director Greg Canessa confirmed that StarCraft II’s episodic content will not be hitting servers until at least eighteen months from now. So for those of you making your countdown clocks now, that puts the StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm DLC pack at a tentative Spring 2012 release date. And you thought all those delays to 2011 were harsh! Ouch!  |
