Reaper is one of Overwatch’ s coolest characters. He has a great move set, awesome backstory, and killer voice. And now, he’s also going to get an incredibly expensive figure. Blizzard has announced it’s making a $150 statue of the character.
The Overwatch Reaper figure will be 12” tall, and each one will be hand painted. Brian Fay, the staff senior sculptor, did the design. He’s captured in the midst of his Death Blossom attack, which anyone who has ever played will know is as beautiful as it is deadly. Pre-orders are now open, with two waves planned. The first will ship before Q1 2017 ends, with the second shipping before Q3 2017 ends. I recommend ordering early to try and get in that first wave.
I know this Overwatch Reaper figure seems extravagant. At $150, it definitely is. But, there are people out there who love these characters. This is more a piece of art than memorabilia. With that mindset, a little splurging might be okay.
