Twitch Plays Pokémon Beats Pokémon Red, Starts a New Adventure

Twitch Plays Pokémon Beats Pokémon Red, Starts a New Adventure

Well everyone, the hivemind has done it. Twitch Plays Pokémon has finally allowed Red to push his way past the Elite Four and claim the title of Pokémon Master. Between you and me, I heard that Professor Oak came… when he heard that Red won. The final party included Air Jordan, the Fonz, Bird Jesus, Anti-Jesus, The All-Terrain Venomoth, and Lord Helix himself!

So what will Twitch Plays Pokémon do now? It can’t just be over… can it? Of course not! The hive mind has started yet another Pokémon adventure, this time taking on Pokémon Crystal. This new and more colorful Pokémon opens up brand new challenges for the hive mind to conquer as they push our protagonist AJDNNW toward his Pokémon Master destiny. Unfortunately, Lord Helix, the Omanyte/star is one of the few Pokémon that isn’t available to get in this version, which means that our protagonist sadly has little to worship.

New rules have also been integrated into the hive minds progress. The ongoing vote war between Democracy and Anarchy has been removed. Instead, the game automatically switches itself to Democracy mode at the top of every hour, before inevitably falling into Anarchy once more. This allows AJDNNW to have a brief moment of clarity every so often, allowing progress to very slowly be made, while still allowing the hive mind to scream into his brain on a steady basis.

Be sure to keep up with all of the hilarity on the official Twitch Plays Pokémon stream. What will we worship this time?!
