Walmart is about to make your wallet happy, and your friends jealous. The retailer recently announced that it would be selling Nintendo’s 3Ds for 170 bucks starting on August 9th. This will give users the opportunity to sign up for Nintendo’s Ambassador program just in the nick of time. For those of you who have had your fingers in your ears for the last couple of weeks, Nintendo’s Ambassador program allows users to download 20 games from their virtual storefront—provided that they have purchased the 3DS before August 12th. Obviously, the Ambassador program was meant to be a reward for those players who purchased their console before the August 12th price reduction, but Walmart is giving you the best of both worlds.
I just checked the balance in my checking account and plan to head to Walmart early on the 9th. I’ll meet you there. |
