Warner Bros. Interactive has been making a big push as of late to pick up quality development studios – namely TT Games and Monolith Productions. Yesterday, WB Interactive acquired the talented folks over at Snowblind Studios, most widely recognized for their work on Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance, Champions of Norrath, Champions: Return to Arms, and Justice League Heroes.
In a statement picked up by IGN, WB Interactive president Kevin Tsujihara spoke on the match: “This is a good fit for Warner Bros. and Snowblind Studios,” said Kevin Tsujihara, President of Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group. “The arrangement broadens our portfolio with quality games and provides Snowblind with access to our global distribution and publishing capabilities. Snowblind has a great reputation and we are pleased to welcome them into the Warner Bros. family.” |
