Weird Al’s Performing at BlizzCon 2016

Weird Al’s Performing at BlizzCon 2016

BlizzCon is a huge event, and each year, a major singer or group performs a concert at the convention. It’s a huge deal. Someone incredible always closes out the show, and this year someone appropriately awesome and nerdy will be appearing. Someone “White & Nerdy,” to be exact. It’s Weird Al Yankovic!

Weird Al will be performing on November 5 at the BlizzCon 2016 closing ceremonies. That starts at 6:30pm PT/9:30pm ET. While actual tickets to the event have been sold out for quite some time, It’s still possible to get a $39.99 virtual ticket, which gives you some swag and lets you see livestreams of the days’ events. There’s no hint as to which songs he’ll perform, but Mandatory Fun was his most recent release in 2014.

When it comes to BlizzCon performers, Weird Al will be in good company. Some great singers and bands have performed. The Offspring performed at the first BlizzCon in 2005, Ozzy Osbourne performed in 2009, Tenacious D in 2010, The Foo Fighters in 2011, Blink-182 in 2013, Metallica in 2014, and Linkin Park in 2015.
