Wheels Of Destruction Rolls Out A Giveaway

PSN title Wheels of Destruction: World Tour is a downloadable take on the destruction derby framework of classic titles such as the Vigilante 8 series and, of course, Twisted Metal. It came out early last month, on April 3, but is making the news today because its developer, Gelid Games, is pairing up with Sony fansite PSN Fans to give away 50 codes for the game during the site’s “Game with the Devs” livestream event.



The livestream, which runs from 2pm Eastern on Saturday, May 12, will include live chatting with the folks at Gelid Games as they play their title and, of course, the aforementioned give away. It’s not entirely clear how the prizes will be handed out, as of yet, whether there will be small contests or first-come, first-serve code dumps, but either way, the broadcast will be an opportunity to learn about the strategy of the game from the very people who made it.
