Xbox 360 users offered $75 to Upgraded to Xbox One

As detailed on NeoGAF on Tuesday, July 8, user BeforeU posted up an image relating to a promotional deal regarding Microsoft’s Xbox One after switching on their Xbox 360 to play some Halo .

According to the image in question, the promotional deal is Microsoft’s way of saying thanks to its “ very best customers ” by offering them an exclusive $75 discount code to use when purchasing an Xbox One or an Xbox One bundle from the Microsoft Store or from participating local retailers.

When looking at the promotion’s terms and conditions, the offer is only valid to the Xbox Live account holder who received the offer in the first place. The promotional code is also only valid when purchasing a new Xbox One standard console, or a Kinect / special edition bundle from any retailer from Monday, July 7, 12am Pacific Standard Time through to the end of the month on Thursday, July 31, 11:59pm Pacific Standard Time.

The latest you can activate the code is also by the end of the month, which can be redeemed by using the would-be purchased Xbox One as a home console. Furthermore, the terms and conditions also stipulate that the deal is only valid in the US.

After accepting the offer, the promotional code will be sent from Xbox to your Xbox One console message center by Friday, August 15. Once you have received the code, you’ll have until Monday, September 10 to redeem the code and until Sunday, September 14, 2015 to use the code when purchasing an Xbox One console.

The code is also only valid to one deal per person. You can read the promotional code’s terms and conditions in full via the source link below. The Xbox One is currently being sold for $399 following the removal of the Kinect device from its packaging.
