Microsoft has announced that it is extending its warranty on the Xbox 360 to one year. Any Xbox 360 with a defective console will have it repaired free of charge. The warranty is also retroactive and will allow gamers who had to pay shipping and repair charges on their Xbox 360 will be refunded. Microsoft will be automatically sending reimbursement checks within ten weeks.
