Nintendo Joy-Con Repairs Coming Back with Presents

Nintendo Joy-Con Repairs Coming Back with Presents

We found out about Nintendo’s Joy-Con repairs a few weeks ago, in which the company was offering free repairs and adding some conductive foam to add extra protection to the controllers’ Bluetooth antennae. Word spread, and people have been getting their Joy-Cons foamed up. But some controllers have come back to their owners with a little bonus.

Some Nintendo fans have reported extra swag coming back from Nintendo with their newly-repaired Joy-Con controllers. Some of these gifts includes Nintendo Switch merch previously seen at events, such as microfiber screen-cleaning cloths and Nintendo Switch note pads. A cute, little Toad keychain has also been spotted.

One player even seems to have received a portable speaker in the mail with his Joy-Con, sans Nintendo branding. Others, sadly, have merely received a letter asking for feedback, along with a 12-month warranty extension.

This all seems to vary by geographical location, so who knows what the deal is? Either way, merch or not, definitely send your Joy-Cons in while the getting is good and Nintendo is doing the repairs for free.
