Earlier today, Microsoft confirmed on their official Xbox news wire website that Xbox One Gold subscribers can play NBA 2K15 for free this upcoming weekend. This promotional period starts on April 24 at 12:00 pm PDT and ends approximately at 12:01 am PDT on April 27.
Shortly after this promotion ends, Microsoft will have several sales on the game including a bundle with 15,000 Virtual Currency points and a 40% discount. These offers will obviously be more enticing for NBA fans that still haven’t purchased the game.
I personally think that this is a smart move by Microsoft considering the timing of the deal with the NBA playoffs. NBA 2K15 is a solid entry in the series and an absolute must for any fan of the series and/or basketball games in general.
