Xbox One Achievement Interface Revealed

Xbox One Achievement Interface Revealed

Over the weekend, Xbox partner studio manager Mike Ybarra jumped on Twitter to release an image of the Xbox One achievement interface. Each and every achievement will now be represented by a beautifully designed large tile graphic image. The console will also display each users total Achievement completion in terms of both points and percentage.

The current Xbox 360 achievement interface is a lot less design oriented as this one. After getting a look at these examples from the Ryse: Son of Rome achievements, I can tell right away that Microsoft’s attention to detail is paying off. You can easily appreciate the time that was put into having these images represent each achievement. This method will also allow players to easily remember all their achievements as they gain new ones throughout the console’s entire life cycle. Microsoft started the trend of making achievements matter with the Xbox 360, and it’s great to see the company continuing to evolve on this concept. Whether or not Sony decides to copy this idea for the PS4 achievement interface still remains unknown at this time.

The Xbox One will be available at all retailers starting this Friday.
