Xenoblade Chronicles X Includes New Fashion Feature

Xenoblade Chronicles X Includes New Fashion Feature

One of the big problems with the original Xenoblade , as well as several other RPGs, is that your character’s appearance is attached to their gear. That way, when you use the best gear in the game, you kind of look like some mishmashed hipster who found all of his clothing in a dumpster.

Luckily, Xenoblade Chronicles X fixes all that, provided that you already beat the game. Once you do, a new “fashion equipment” option becomes unlocked. This allows you to dress up your character using the appearance of whatever equipment you want, without using that equipment’s stats. Meanwhile your actual equipment will give you stat boosts without affecting you visually.

“It appears that there are users that are concerned about creating their avatar, but you’ll be fine even if you just create one quickly and begin playing, probably,” Xenoblade director Koh Kojima said in a tweet.
