Believe it or not, BioWare’s critically acclaimed Knights of the Old Republic is now available on Android devices.
Appearing on Google Play this week, the mobile version of the game is touted as a full Knights of the Old Republic experience, meaning that the game is claimed to have not been slimmed down for the sake of being ported to mobile.
Released by Aspyr Media, Inc., the game is a 2.4GB download, and requires Android 4.1 and above in order to function. To celebrate the launch of Knights of the Old Republic on Android devices, the game is currently 50 percent off for an unspecified period of time. For the moment, you can pick the game up for £3.20, or your regional equivalent.
“ I t is four thousand years before the Galactic Empire and hundreds of Jedi Knights have fallen in battle against the ruthless Sith. You are the last hope of the Jedi Order. Can you master the awesome power of the Force on your quest to save the Republic? Or will you fall to the lure of the dark side? Hero or villain, savior or conqueror… you alone will determine the destiny of the entire galaxy! ” reads the game’s description on Google Play.
This release follows the over year-long gap between the game’s launch on iOS, which occurred back in May, 2013. An updated version was later brought to iPhone and iPod Touch.
