Did you ever expect Minecraft to take off the way that it did back in 2009? It did, and both the game and Mojang are soaring on the wings of success. But if a player wanted to fly, they could only do so in the Creative mode. That’s going to change eventually, though, as Mojang’s Jens Bergsten has posted multiple gifs on Twitter of a flying cape for the Adventure mode.
Bergsten hasn’t said when the Minecraft flying cape will be added in an update, but did talk a bit about the equippable accessory. You can find one while exploring in Adventure mode, but you can’t craft one yet. It expands, like wings, when in use, and folds behind Steve or Alex when they’re on the ground.
So, who believes they can fly? Clap your hands, people!
