Nintendo has perhaps the weirdest and coolest plan for letting people try out the new Smash Bros. at San Diego Comic Con. Instead of going to a Nintendo booth to play the game, Nintendo will bring the game to you!
The promotion works like this. First, you need to snap a pic of yourself at Comic-Con. Your location needs to be clearly visible in the background. Then, you need to tweet Nintendo with your picture and the hashtag #BringMeSmash. Then you wait…. Then, you get tired of waiting and go about doing something else at Comic Con.
However, a few lucky people will get direct messaged via twitter that they were selected for a Smash Bros. game demo. Nintendo representatives will come over with a 3DS with the game loaded on it and will allow you to play! So, think about doing this when you are waiting in line for 7 hours in order to get into the main hall.
