2K Czech, the studio behind games such as Mafia and Top Spin, is hiring for a brand new game. According to the studio, it is an “unannounced and super interesting” project that is totally top secret.
2K Czech is currently hiring for two open positions that deal directly with the project. It also has thirteen other open positions that likely will have something to do with the new project as well. Many of you may remember that 2K Czech experienced layoffs last year that cost the studio 40 developers, so whatever they are staffing up for must be big enough to reclaim their losses.
Fans and analysts have come up with several theories as to what the new project could be. Some say it’s likely that we will be seeing a Mafia III sometimes soon. Others say that the studio is working on some sort of Grand Theft Auto tie-in. Still others say that this project will be some huge new title for the next generation of consoles.
2K Czech has not yet commented on any new projects, but those open positions certainly do look enticing.
