Epic Games has opened a studio in Seattle in order to aid the development of its engine, the Unreal Engine 4.
The Gears of War developer confirmed that the employees of the new studio will first be focusing its engineering efforts towards Unreal Engine 4 technology.
Potential employees are now being hired by the developer who will “work on its latest technological projects.” Successful applicants will be working with Epic’s engineering group.
Online and tools programmers, as well as positions relating to animation and audio, are currently some of the jobs Epic is hiring for their Seattle division.
Fortnite, a sandbox building game that launches on the PC sometime during 2013, will be the first game to be powered by the Unreal Engine 4.
