The Sims 4 Pregnancy Cheat Codes

Here is how to enter cheats in The Sims 4*:

  • Open the Cheat Console: To open the cheat console, you will need to press “Ctrl + Shift + C” on your keyboard if you are using a PC, or “Command + Shift + C” if you are using a Mac. This will open a box at the top of the screen where you can enter the cheats.
  • Enter the Cheat: Type the cheat code into the box and hit “Enter” on your keyboard.
  • Close the Cheat Console: To close the cheat console, simply press “Ctrl + Shift + C” or “Command + Shift + C” again.

*Note: Some cheats require you to enter “testingcheats true” before they will work. This cheat enables additional cheats and allows you to shift-click on Sims and objects to access more options.

Choose Amount of Children

There is a quick three-part way to ensure that your Sim has the amount of offspring you are expecting.

  1. You must have a Sim get pregnant either by the Try for Baby option or but the aforementioned cheats.
  2. Find their Sim ID by entering sims.get_sim_id_by_name (full name of Sim in question) using the cheat input prompt.
  3. One acquired, input pregnancy.force_offspring_count (Sim ID) (desired number of offspring) into the cheat prompt.

The Sims 4 FAQs

Can a Sim get pregnant from a ghost?

Thankfully, no matter the age or gender of a Ghost, there will not be a Try for Baby in any couple where at least one Sim is a ghost.

Can your Sim have a baby with the Grim Reaper?

Unlike with ghosts, you can use a work around cheat to do this. You can use traits.remove_trait IsGrimReaper in the cheat prompt in order to deactivate the traits associated with the Grim Reaper. This leaves him free to do normal actions, one of which is Try for a Baby.
