Rumor of the PlayStation 4-PlayStation Vita bundle cropped up back in early May, where an anonymous source claimed that the bundle would on sale in mid June for €579.90 (or your regional equivalent). The price is calculated to be €19 cheaper than if you buy both a PlayStation 4 and a PlayStation Vita separately.
As reported by GameZone on Wednesday, June 3, a recently discovered leak has strengthened the bundle’s rumor. Found on Amazon France, the “ Playstation Vita Wifi + Console PlayStation 4 “ bundle, which includes the PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation Vita Slim, is listed as being available in France on Friday, July 4.
The bundle has been priced at €579.99, which roughly translates to $787 or £470. Even though the pricing is not finalized, it pretty much hasn’t moved since its original rumor surfaced.
With E3 just right around the corner, we may hear an official announcement from Sony about the bundle then. Until such time, it’d probably be best to still consider this leak unofficial at the moment.
