We love giant mechs. Lightning fast or ponderously slow, we’re always looking for more robot-on-robot action. So, the announcement of Armored Cord: Verdict Day for Europe without any word of a North American release took us by surprise, and left us a tad dejected.
In this case, though, patience has proven a virtue. Armored Core: Verdict Day has been confirmed for a North American release by NAMCO Bandai on both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Verdict Day allows players to join squads of up to 20 members and enlisted in one of the game’s faction as they vie for control of resources through explosive, violent combat. Further, the Operator Mode from Armored Core V is set to return, meaning players will have some degree of tactical control over their subordinate forces.
Though no date has been stated for the North American release, Armored Core: Verdict Day is coming to European Xbox 360s and PlayStation 3s in autumn. It seems likely the North American release will be in that time frame as well.
