DICE has quadrupled Battlefield 3’s official servers, as well as confirming the release dates for the shooter’s next expansion, Armored Kill.
The move for more official servers follows complaints pertaining to DICE replacing official servers with player-rented servers. The developer has now increased the amount of servers for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 version of the title.
In addition, DICE has dated Battlefield 3: Armored Kill. Per Sony’s timed exclusive deal with EA, PS3 Battlefield 3 Premium members can download the pack on September 4 th . Xbox 360 and PC Premium members receive the expansion on September 11 th .
Non-premium Battlefield 3 players can download the DLC pack for the PS3 come September 18, and Xbox 360 and PC on September 25.
