Battlefield 4: China Rising , the game’s first new expansion pack, has received a release date. Battlefield premium members will be able to download the DLC on Tuesday, December 3. Non-premium members will be able to download it two weeks later on December 17. DICE also previously announced that the DLC will be available early to anyone who pre-ordered the game. However, it is still unclear when they will be able to download it.
China Rising will include four new maps set in the “Chinese mainland.” It will also include brand new vehicles and equipment. It is the first real expansion of Battlefield 4 to contain new content. A “retro” pack, called Battlefield 4: Second Assault , will launch before it on November 22, but it will just include maps from Battlefield 3 . China Rising will be the first of five expansion packs planned for the shooter. We will bring you more information on Battlefield 4’s DLC as it becomes available.
