Bethesda Seeks Trademark For Fallout TV Show?

Bethesda Seeks Trademark For Fallout TV Show?

Bethesda has recently filed a new trademark application for an “ongoing television program set in a post-nuclear apocalyptic world.” I don’t know about you, but that sounds like Fallout to me. Bethesda has not yet made any official announcements about pursuing a TV show, and it is rare for a developer to get directly involved with TV programming based on their IP. Actually, it’s rare for video game IPs to find their way into the TV universe at all these days. The last huge boom of game-based television programming happened in the days of the Super Mario Brothers Super Show.

A while ago, Erik Todd Dellums tweeted that he may be reprising his role of Three Dog sometimes soon. Most fans thought that this would be for a new Fallout game. However, it’s possible that he will actually be voice acting for this TV show.

Now, here’s the most interesting part; we have heard rumors of Fallout 4 being in development, and now we are hearing rumors of a TV show. What if both were done as an interactive experience? What if you could get information about the game from the TV show? Now that would be something truly innovative.
