Biofeedback Horror Game “Nevermind” Gets Successfully Kickstarted

Biofeedback Horror Game “Nevermind” Gets Successfully Kickstarted

Nevermind , the game known for its biofeedback-enhanced horror experience, was successfully kickstarted yesterday, Monday, November 3, reaching a grand total of 1,526 backers raising $76,525 of its $70,000 goal over the course of its 25-day campaign.

The game is most renowned for its biofeedback sensor monitors, which measure how scared and / or stressed you are when playing Nevermind . The more uptight you get, the more the game capitalizes on your anxiety during gameplay, which could take several minutes or an instant. However, if you manage to stay as calm as possible throughout your playthrough of the game, the game itself will be more forgiving.

“Nevermind’s goal is to create an unforgettable gameplay experience that also teaches players how to be more aware of their unique internal responses to stressful situations, ” reads Nevermind’s Kickstarter page. “ If you can learn to control your anxiety within the disturbing realm of Nevermind , just imagine what you can do when it comes to those inevitable stressful moments in the real world…

What’s more is that, with the game’s added success, Nevermind’s developer, Flying Mollusk, has planned to bring its promising horror game to as many platforms as possible, including Mac, Oculus Rift, Xbox One (via its Kinect peripheral) and more, such as potential devices to help track your heart rate: Apple Watch , Intel BioSport Headphones and Mio LINK among others.

We made it thanks to everyone’s amazing support and hard work! ” said Nevermind creator and Flying Mollusk, Erin Reynolds, during the last hour of the game’s Kickstarter upon reaching the campaign’s goal.

The team and I are still speechless over the overwhelming love and enthusiasm we’ve seen in the past couple of days – and the past few hours especially. I cannot put into words how incredibly excited I am that we’ll be able to bring Nevermind to a host of platforms, support compatibility for a number of sensors, and build even more content for the overall experience!

Nevermind is estimated to release sometime during the latter half of next year. We’ll bring you more news on the game should further information reach our ears. You can read more details on Nevermind via the source link below.
