Planetary Annihilation Dev Reveals Next Game

Planetary Annihilation Dev Reveals Next Game

Recently announced last week, Planetary Annihilation developer, Uber Entertainment, has revealed a follow-up kickstarter campaign to its recently released sci-fi real-time strategy game, asking for those interested to back the studio’s next RTS project: “ Human Resources ”.

Set during an apocalypse, Human Resources allows for players to control one of two factions in order to vie for control over the one remaining thing poor planet Earth has in abundance: humans. The two factions in question are basically kaiju and giant versions of killer mechs, or “ancient squid monsters from another dimension” and “killer robots”.

The game touts asymmetrical factions with the extra-dimensional monsters and killer bots, as well as the ability to control up to hundreds of units at a given time. Human Resources also boasts a comic-inspired art style, along with gameplay similar to that of Command & Conquer and an Annihilation title.

As the icing on the cake, the game is also promised to feature fully destructible cities and large-scale battles.

Uber Entertainment is asking for a total of $1.4 million for its Kickstarter campaign, and at the time of writing over 5,500 backers have pledged under $220,000. The Kickstarter itself has until Tuesday, November 4 to reach its goal, and the game is estimated to launch sometime in February, 2016 should the campaign succeed.
