A rumor has resurged concerning 2K Games and the development of an MMO based on the BioShock universe. While it is known that 2K is interested in the MMO space, and that the company feels BioShock could be a nice fit, official sources have revealed little more than mild rumblings of what they’d like to see. This time, Destructoid reports that a “mysterious source” has told the gaming site that the speculated BioShock MMO is in fact going forward. Now, before you get your plasmids in a bundle, even the Destructoid report portrays the story and the source in a derisive light. As such, assume this is just more bluster from an anxious industry insider that’s seen a few concept drawings.
