A while back, we heard rumor that Call of Duty: Black Ops II would be coming to the Wii U due to the title showing up on a couple LinkedIn profiles. However, today we have confirmation—or, at the very least, harder proof.
Joystiq recently posted the above image of the game at a Wii U kiosk at the Nintendo Presentation Event in New York City. If this doesn’t confirm the game’s eventual Wii U release, I don’t know what does.
Unfortunately, we don’t know many more details about the Wii U version of the game, including whether or not it will have specialized controls that make use of the Wii U Gamepad. We will likely get more information soon.
