Today is the big day! Nintendo’s going to have an amazing Switch presentation tonight. But we already know some important news regarding the console. Namely, that people in New York are going to be among the first to get a shot at it. Nintendo confirmed that New York City’s Nintendo World Store will be taking some pre-orders on January 13.
Nintendo tweeted out the news yesterday. At 9am ET tomorrow, a limited number of pre-orders will be offered at the Nintendo World Store. The first people there will have a chance to call dibs on a console. Though, we don’t know how many pre-orders will be offered. Which means anyone even remotely interested should probably get there early. Getting there at 4 or 5am might not be a bad idea.
Though, it may be even smarter to just stay home. Listen, a lot of stores are going to take Switch pre-orders. It’s not like a Nintendo World Store Switch is going to be more special. I recommend waiting for Amazon, Best Buy, or GameStop to start accepting pre-orders instead.
