Silent Hill: Book of Memories, the first Vita title in the long-running horror franchise, was supposed to release back in March. It would have come out in close proximity to both the HD Collection release of Silent Hills 2 and 3 as well as its next-gen big brother, Silent Hill: Downpour. Instead, it was pulled from retailer listings and given an indefinite break, no solid release date in sight. It appears that Konami is finally ready to set a date for the title. After a delay for “timing and development” purposes, we can expect to receive a more polished product this October, when the game finally hits retail.
