Book Of Memories Back On The Radar

Book Of Memories Back On The Radar

None

Silent Hill: Book of Memories, the first Vita title in the long-running horror franchise, was supposed to release back in March. It would have come out in close proximity to both the HD Collection release of Silent Hills 2 and 3 as well as its next-gen big brother, Silent Hill: Downpour. Instead, it was pulled from retailer listings and given an indefinite break, no solid release date in sight.

It appears that Konami is finally ready to set a date for the title. After a delay for “timing and development” purposes, we can expect to receive a more polished product this October, when the game finally hits retail.

A Silent Hill game launching within a month of Halloween? I see great promotional potential for this one, yes. Will Konami jump on the opportunity and try to do some interplay between that darkest of holidays and its own monstrous series? We’ll know in a few months.
