Call of Duty Set for Film Adaptation?

Call of Duty Set for Film Adaptation?

None

Trademork, a website that focuses on “Trademark oddities, information, and news” brought to the world’s attention that Activision filed on September 21, 2009 trademark protection of the Call of Duty franchise in relation to “pre-recorded movies featuring comedy, drama, action, adventure, music, theatrical performances and/or animation”.

This fact coupled with a tweet posted by Infinity Ward’s community manager Robert Bowling, as picked up by IGN, seems to confirm that a film associated with the Modern Warfare IP is in the works.

Bowling: “First round of meetings in Paris wrapped. Grabbing lunch with Xavier Gens, director of the Hitman film while in town. Talking game films.” Perhaps a film adaptation is already brewing?
