Earlier today, Frima Studios Executive Producer Martin Brouard confirmed on the PlayStation Blog that Chariot is coming to the PS4 later this year. Frima Studios are well known for the work they did on Zombie Tycoon 2: Brainhov’s Revenge .
Chariot can be best described as a 2D, couch co-op adventure platformer where players must work together to guide a chariot through several intense underground levels. Physics-based mechanics such as pushing, and riding are at the forefront of the overall gameplay experience and mastery in these areas will yield the best results. In many ways, the teamwork aspect behind this game is similar to concepts displayed in Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons .
When I first heard about this game, I was only told about an Xbox One and PC release. Now that it’s confirmed for the PS4 , I’m glad that even more people will get the opportunity to check out this game and see if it’s as good as advertised. My guess is that it has the potential to be a decent co-op game if nothing else.
