Console Modder Creates Combination PS4/Xbox One With Built In Screen

Modder and tinkerer Eddie Zarick, the man responsible for building Xbox One and PS4 Laptops with built in screens, has just created his latest masterpiece. Called the PlayBox, the system is a portable PS4 and Xbox One combined, with a built in screen AND HDMI output!

To produce this monster, he basically gutted existing consoles and transported their innards into a 22” laptop case. There is a switch that determines which mode the console is in. Only one console can be powered on at a time otherwise the unit will overheat. However, the consoles are fully functional, complete with internal storage and disk drives.

There are some problems though. The USB ports on the side of the Xbox One are inaccessible, and the PS4 power on button doesn’t work as well as it should, but this is the first of its kind and if he were to make more, we are sure subsequent models would get better. That being said he did this on special request and it cost a lot to make, so unless you are gonna shell out the bucks for a dual console, he probably won’t be making another one.
