Yesterday, Microsoft announced their brand new tablet, the Surface. The Surface come in two versions, one for Windows 8 Pro and one for Windows RT, and will include a full sized USB port, and a 16:9 HD screen. Essentially, it’s looking like Microsoft is trying to market The Surface as a portable mini-PC than a traditional tablet. For example, the Surface comes with a cover that has a built in keyboard on it. That way you can type traditionally on the surface as well as with an onscreen input device. The cover keyboard also has a two button track pad as well. This, together with a built in kickstand, makes the Surface look like the world’s smallest laptop. ![]()
